Catalog description

This course explores the principles and practices of sound design and technology, as well as the practical application of theoretical skills that are necessary to succeed as a live sound engineer. In this course, we will learn to prepare paperwork to agreed upon standards set forth by USITT and IATSE USA829, configure networks for the transport of networked audio, and begin to explore spatial audio as a tool for sound design. The course covers both technical skills and creative aspects of live sound engineering.
