Catalog description

This course is designed to be taken immediately after THEA 270 - Introduction to Lighting Design and will focus on the Lighting Design Process for both Designers and Assistant/Associate Designers. The successful student will, through practical & theoretical projects, gain a detailed understanding of Photometrics, hone their abilities with CAD & Lightwright, build their skills as an Assistant/Associate Designer, & develop a clear & organized Lighting Design process. Attention will also be paid towards developing clear & effective presentation skills through in-class design charettes & projects.
