Medical Professionalism

Catalog description

SC 422 will introduce students to Medical Professionalism through a case and discussion-based approach using the framework of the Hippocratic Oath, which has been used by medical professionals worldwide for centuries. Students will develop an understanding of and appreciation for medical professionalism, patient-centered care, confidentiality, professional integrity, interprofessionalism, and professional responsibility and advocacy.
