Catalog description

This course provides second- or third-year mining engineering students with an introduction to essential computer-aided design tools and software used in the mining and mineral processing industry. Students will gain hands-on experience with modern mining software. The course focuses on developing foundational skills for designing mine layouts, preliminary processing plant flowsheets, and supporting structures. These skills will prepare students for advanced mining engineering courses and practical applications in the field.
