Catalog description

This advanced course explores the strategic, operational, and experiential dimensions of beverage management in hospitality settings. Students will critically examine the global beverage industry, including production, distribution, and service of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Emphasis is placed on profitability, sustainability, legal compliance, and professional service standards. Through case studies, hands-on activities, and industry engagement, students will develop advanced competencies in beverage program design, inventory control, regulatory navigation, and service innovation. The course integrates cultural, historical, and contemporary perspectives to prepare students for leadership roles in beverage-focused operations.
