Catalog description

This course has students apply the entrepreneurial mindset in this one-of-a-kind class. Students learn about business and entrepreneurship through creativity, risk-taking, competition, and innovation. Explore and learn from success and failure. Practice the entrepreneurial mindset by developing and selling products and services, and by competing on teams to create startup businesses. The course is designed to stimulate creative thinking, learn to deal with and appreciate the opportunities provided by ambiguity, and increase a student's team-working abilities and leadership competencies through challenging and engaging projects. This class is required for the Product Innovation Cluster of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENTI) minor and for the Engineering Leadership Development Minor (ELD). The class counts towards the Product Innovation Entrepreneurship Certificate (PINENT).
