DART 214 Storyboarding for Animation (3) is a digital arts studio course on storyboarding for animation and time-based media. This course will focus on visual storytelling, story structure, mood and character development, visual language for storyboarding, as well as analog and digital drawing and imaging techniques used in storyboarding and animatics used in animated works. This course will engage digtital art and design students' drafting, conceptual, and storytelling skills while building experience in relevant storyboarding techniques and technologies through hands-on studio production culminating in realized colorscripts, storyboards, and animatics.
