Catalog description

This course builds on the foundations of photojournalism and visual storytelling to give students an opportunity to learn marketable skills of how visuals and words can work together to tell stories. It's a journalism course that equips students with skills and tools to tell true stories through visuals. Students will produce and evaluate photography, interactive visual presentation and documentary video work. Students will also apply basic design principles and learn how to distribute their work and reach different audiences. This course emphasizes skills development in visual media production to help students develop versatility.
