Pennsylvania State University-World Campus · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Be prepared to work with the data and reporting tools used in the fast-growing area of environmental, social, and governance (ESG). In this course, you'll apply skills from the prior two courses in the 3-course CED data analysis and visualization sequence (CED 204, CED 405 , and either CED 407 or CED 408 , depending upon option) to conduct benchmarking, comparative analysis, and climate scenario planning. You'll learn the basics of carbon accounting, such as with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, and hands-on projects will prepare you to collect, analyze, and communicate your ESG findings to stakeholders - from investors and corporate leaders to community partners.
