Catalog description

An introduction to the legal environment of insurance with an emphasis on insurance contracts, insurance and liability, insurance bad faith, and insurance regulation. Insurance affects almost every business and consumer in the United States. This course provides an introduction of the legal environment of insurance and covers topics ranging from civil dispute resolution and insurance, insurance contracts, insurance and real property, insurance and liability, insurance bad faith and insurance fraud, and state and federal insurance programs.
