BIOL 225 is a 1-credit laboratory course that accompanies BIOL 224 lecture, which is an introductory ecology and evolution course. In lab, students will demonstrate proficiency in techniques used for the study of ecology and evolution, including but not limited to observations and experiments, data collection and data analysis at population, community, and ecosystem scales. The course emphasizes critical thinking, data summary and analysis, teamwork, and effective written and oral communication of scientific findings. Students who have passed BIOL 220W or BIOL 220M may not enroll in this course.
