An overview of the anatomy and physiology of domestic animals and how it relates to animal management practices. The course will begin with an introduction to key physiology concepts such as homeostasis and structure/function relationships, followed by discussions on eukaryotic cells, cell membranes, and tissues. From there, each major organ system of the body will be covered. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on the application of anatomy and physiology to real-life animal management practices.
