Advanced Pathophysiology Across the Lifespan

Catalog description

This advanced doctoral-level course builds upon advanced physiologic principles by focusing on pathophysiologic considerations of populations across the lifespan. The course will focus on the relationship of pathophysiology to clinical assessment, decision-making, and management. Evidence-based treatment and clinical management for disease states and conditions will be discussed. Through case-based learning and evidence-informed discussions, students demonstrate the ability to integrate biophysical science with individualized, safe clinical care.
