Endoscopy Lab

Catalog description

This lab-based course will provide students the unique experience of manipulating rigid and flexible endoscopes for assessment of the velopharynx, larynx and swallow anatomy and physiology. There will be hands on practice in a small group setting with direct instruction from experts in the field of laryngology. Students will have opportunity to learn and refine skills for interpretation of stroboscopy and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).
