Catalog description

Students will, under faculty guidance, review events or projects they have conducted in their school and assess its suitability to be developed as a case study. After selecting the case, students will be guided in developing a case study that can be employed in future professional development. Students will write up a case study that articulates the context, vision, theory of action, strategies, evaluation, and resources utilized by the candidate to effect a systemic improvement to their school. Students will critically examine how case studies serve as teaching tools, and reflect on how their lived experience/active practice can be transformed into teaching materials that can develop the administrative skills of future principals.
