Work Design - Productivity and Safety is a senior level course offered in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. It is one of two courses which follow I E 327, Introduction to Work Design. This course focuses on the methods improvement physical work design, productivity, work measurement; principles and practice of safety. This course will enable students to perform work measurement: develop an MTM analysis, and carry out a work sampling study. Students taking this course are expected to understand basic concepts of work design.
