MATSE 530 X-Ray Crystallography and Diffraction (3) MATSE 530 is a general introduction to the crystallography and x-ray diffraction for a variety of different studies of the structure of solids. Students will gain an understanding of basic crystallography, the geometry of diffraction measurements and instrumentation, and the interpretation of diffraction data. Diffraction studies using synchrotron radiation and neutrons are also discussed.
