Catalog description

This course covers applications of empirically-supported psychotherapeutic theories and techniques to a group setting. During this course, students will learn about the process for group selection and formation. The course will also address the ethical guidelines and best practices for group leadership facilitation and group process. Adaptations required for specialized groups, such as children and adolescents, will be presented.
