This course provides the opportunity to apply data visualization principles and storytelling to complex healthcare datasets using various methods and tools. Healthcare data presents unique challenges when attempting to combine clinical, administrative, and financial data meaningfully. Through this course, the students will learn how to create visualizations of these data while developing innovative ways to present findings. Students will use tools in high demand in the healthcare industry and develop critical thinking skills through identifying strengths and weaknesses of the graphical presentation.
