Catalog description

This graduate course improves understanding in an organizational setting of the principles and practices of cyber forensics as well as the management of information security. Foundational Cybersecurity forensic software and hardware analyses is accompanied by information security management in an organization. Conducting basic Windows and Linux computer forensic investigative processes, discussion, analysis, and legal aspects are covered in the first part of the course. The second part of the course covers various information security functions of an organization such as laws, ethics, planning, governance, risk management, policy creation, crisis, and incidence response.
