Catalog description

Study of pre-calculus algebra and an introduction to trigonometry. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical and trigonometric functions; equations; inequalities; right triangle trigonometry; and sine and cosine laws. Emphasis on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and graphing technology using the language, symbols, and algorithms of algebra. A grade of ‘C’ or higher in MTH108 is required to advance to MTH181.
