Catalog description
Study of the simulation software used to set up models of the manufacturing process to improve the overall efficiency of the facility. Emphasis on the process simulation software utilized for aiding in the initial layout of the factory, improving the interactions between each process, improving the flow to materials, determining bottlenecks, manpower required, and managing inventory. Includes manufacturing line set-up, part production simulation on a virtual line and process changes to improve throughput. Fall Only.
