Catalog description

Examination of the history, rationale, design, and evaluation of healthcare quality assurance programs in various healthcare settings. Application of methods for developing and organizing a quality assurance program, including patient involvement in the process of continuous improvement and evaluation of the quality assurance plan. To enroll in this course, a student must be enrolled in a healthcare-related major or obtain special permission from the course instructor.
