Healthcare Occupations Internship

Catalog description

Work experience intended to provide exposure to a healthcare-related work environment. Placement will be based on career interests and is identified by the student with approval by the internship coordinator and/or academic advisor. Intended as concluding aspect of the Allied Health major, the internship may take place in the final two semesters of the major. Requires a minimum of 225 work experience hours, but may include more hours depending on the individual needs of the site. The experience may be paid or unpaid as determined by the internship site.
