The credit function is also studied, reviewing sound underwriting guidelines for consumer, mortgage and commercial loans. Specialized products such as trust services, cash management, international banking, and brokerage services are reviewed as is the importance of marketing in today's competitive environment. Skills learned include methods of measuring and analyzing the performance of financial institutions.
