Catalog description

Study providing a foundation in industrial automation and control (input/output devices). Specific product experience with several I/O devices includes, but is not limited to, the use of sensors, final control elements, operator interfaces, and variable frequency drives. Study includes the principles, methods, and rationale for combining remote sensing and actuation with modern communication techniques to effectively monitor and control industrial processes. Automatic timing, control, and communications offer a challenging and accelerated opportunity that prepare the student for the needs of industry.
