Introduction to basic personal computer hardware, the operating system, the OSI, TCP/IP models, local area networks, basic network security and programmable logic controller (PLC) network interfacing. The essential principles of installation and configuration of both local area networks and PLC interfacing on a local area network are the focus of this course.
