Catalog description

Study of electronically controlled diesel fuel systems used in modern industrial and off-highway applications. Emphasis on system layouts, component function, fuel delivery strategies, and electronic governing. Includes use of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic software to access and adjust programmable parameters within the Engine Control Module (ECM). Includes introduction to advanced electrical and electronic principles, including sensor types, signal interpretation, diagnostic testing, and schematic analysis using digital multimeters and specialized tools. Fall Only.
