Catalog description

Introduction to problem-solving techniques and the application of these techniques to develop structured code. Emphasis on elementary programming concepts such as variables, constants, data types, operators, control structures, functions, exceptions and exception handling, and basic file processing. A current high-level language is used to illustrate and implement phases of program development with an emphasis on proper documentation and debugging.
