Introduction to the creation and interpretation of basic mechanical drawings using computer aided design (CAD) software. Emphasis on standard and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) drawing styles based on American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards. Coursework includes use of computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software to generate programs for computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools. Fall Only.
