Catalog description

Writing intensive study of human error, its causes, and how error impacts safety in the aviation maintenance industry. Written analyses include relationships between management, pilots, and other flight crews; resource management plans; common errors; risk management; and technology advancements, which lead to error reduction. Case studies identify critical points in aviation incidents and accidents. Students will develop a written personal safety plan. Spring Only.
