Catalog description

Analysis of the technological trends in the automotive industry and how technology changes may affect the technician’s future job duties, manager’s decisions, and society as a whole. Examination of the science behind the operating principles that can change automotive technology as well as how business and society adapt to emerging technology. To promote understanding of the course content, course projects, study of engineering functions, and collection of technical data using special equipment may be integrated when appropriate. The course is aligned to the academic requirement for a Science, Technology, and Society course.
