Catalog description

In Intermediate Tibetan II, students will continue to develop their understanding of the fundamentals of the Tibetan language in its literary and spoken forms. Additional vocabulary and grammatical forms used in literary and colloquial Tibetan will be introduced. In class students will gain exposure to a range of Tibetan literature by reading selections from both classical and modern texts. Reading and writing abilities will be further developed. Students will also be introduced to Tibetan cultural traditions while gaining fluency with conversational skills in daily drills of speaking and listening comprehension.
