Catalog description

In this final clinical fieldwork course, students are expected to demonstrate the competence of a novice Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP). Building on prior experiences, students assume increasing autonomy in patient care, clinical decision-making, and professional responsibilities. Through immersive clinical practice, simulations, and integrative projects, students refine their skills in assessment, diagnostic reasoning, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration. By course completion, students are prepared to independently manage the care of medically complex adult patients within the scope of a novice AGPCNP.
