Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to major ethical theories, principles, and models for the recognition, analysis, and resolution of ethical dilemmas in healthcare practice. This course is designed to provide students with foundational concepts relevant to ethics and exposure to real-life ethical dilemmas in healthcare. Skills for inter/intra professional collaboration are developed through team-based learning (TBL). Students will engage in clinical learning activities, fieldwork, and reflective practice to demonstrate student’s ability to give voice for ethically challenging situations.
