MSSP Policy Practicum

Catalog description

The course is paired with an intensive, multi-week policy practicum that is selected through a consultative process involving the student, the MSSP Practicum Coordinator, and their practicum mentor/supervisor. The practicum provides an opportunity for the student to expand their horizons beyond the academic sphere. The course serves as a medium to integrate classroom learning with experiences in policy-making activity. Your cohort will meet monthly to discuss your practicum, career development, and apply what you learn in the program to your work. Meeting dates and times will be communicated at the beginning of each semester and will be posted on Canvas. Registration restricted to majors only.
