Catalog description
KORN 0520 is a sequel to KORN 0420 , designed specifically for heritage speakers. The course focuses on advancing students' language proficiency to the intermediate-high level, as defined by the ACTFL Guidelines. The course aims to help students communicate effectively in Korean with both grammatical accuracy and socio-linguistic appropriateness across a range of topics, while fostering independent language learning beyond the classroom. This course enhances all four language skills with a particular focus on speaking and writing. Topics include majors and careers, holidays and traditions, regions and history of Korea, Koreans abroad, and food culture.
