Catalog description
A continuation of Spoken Japanese III, this course continues the introduction to the spoken Japanese language found Spoken Japanese I, II, and III. Romanization for some materials will be provided, but students will be expected to be able to read Hiragana and Katakana. The emphasis is on speaking, listening, and reading. There is only limited instruction in writing. Japanese popular culture is incorporated into every class. Textbooks: Kleumper, Intermediate Japanese and Genki II
