Using a combination of evidence based current literature and lecture this course will focus on Basic concepts in cell and molecular biology as they relate to in bioengineering in oral health, host –pathogen interactions, relationship between systemic and oral biology, role of nutrition in oral heath, vaccines and oral health as well as oral microbiome.
