Practical Solutions to Reducing Carbon Emissions

Catalog description
As climate change becomes an increasing threat, countries and organizations across the globe are setting ambitious net-zero and environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. This class will investigate and assess the leading techniques and practices to reduce carbon emissions and greenhouse gases, and map out needed climate change actions and transformations in our sectors of natural resources, ecosystems, water, energy, built spaces, food and agriculture, waste management, economics, policy and legislation, and other related areas. Discussions will include both physical and social considerations and cover a wide range of sectors (e.g., water, energy) and levels of governance (local, regional, national, international).
