One Series--Literature of the Long 18C with Theory and Poetics

This seminar offers students the opportunity to undertake a semester-long in-depth study of a major literary text from the Long 18th Century with a focus on Theory and Poetics. Discussions will address emergent research methods, advanced writing and critical thinking issues, and debates surrounding canonization.
