Writing through Culture and Art

Catalog description

This is a year-long creative writing class, given as a collaboration between the Center for Programs in Contemporary Writing and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Students will be encouraged to develop correspondent methods of responding to the PMA's exhibitions. The class will involve regular trips to attend concerts, museums and lectures. Students will have access to the most cutting-edge artists today via class visits and studio visits, and the course will culminate in a publication of student work.
