Catalog description

Journalism has been called the first rough draft of history, because it attempts to answer a basic everyday question: What's happening? This workshop-based course explores the techniques that make a good journalism story, including fact gathering, ledes, structure, kickers, interviewing, quotes, description, and journalistic ethics, and the basic skills needed to produce journalism across print and digital mediums.
