Introduction to Creative Writing: Animal Tales

This workshop-style course provides an introduction to creative writing in multiple genres, focusing on the real and imagined lives of animals from ancient fables through twenty-first-century stories, poems, essays, and hybrid-genre works. Students will craft their own original pieces, read and comment on assigned readings, and use in-class exercises to push the boundaries of our own writing.
