Catalog description

How can stories illuminate human experiences? How can patterns in data amplify the power of storytelling? This course examines narrative and ethnographic research, as well as their intersection, providing students with the tools to uncover, analyze, and communicate complex aspects of human experience. By combining storytelling techniques and ethnographic inquiry, students will learn to transform data-driven insights into compelling narratives that resonate with multiple audiences.
