Catalog description

This course includes theoretical and practical applications for the teaching of world languages, based on the five "C" goal areas: Communication, Cultures, Comparisons, Connections, and Communities of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages. Approaches and techniques will be explored to equip world language teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a student-centered, standards-driven, communicative classroom. Learning will take place in multiple ways including videos, observations, reflections and virtual visits.
