Catalog description

This course provides an overview of general trends in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). It equips prospective language teachers with basic skills for designing online materials and using them for teaching in synchronous (real-time) environments. During the course, students will explore several online platforms, such as Zoom and Frame. The course will also involve the use of AI and various technological tools that can be used in both virtual and in-person settings. Throughout the course, students will engage in hands-on activities. Those planning to teach online are especially encouraged to enroll.
