Catalog description

This course introduces students to the counseling profession with focused exploration of school counseling and clinical mental health counseling pathways. Students will examine professional identity, credentialing, and practicum/internship readiness. Emphasis is placed on developmental self-awareness, systems-level thinking, and preparation for work in K–12 school systems and/or clinical/community mental health settings.
