Technical Communication for Non-Native English Speakers

Catalog description

EAS 5100 is a communication course designed for international graduate students who come from a non-native English-speaking background. EAS 5100 provides instruction and practice for spoken and written communication skills. Specifically, the features of academic prose for research writing, and those of American pronunciation for fluency and presentations will be addressed. Assignments will include technical papers and in-class presentations that focus on engineering topics.
