This critical-creative seminar takes a dynamic and interdisciplinary look at the art of writing about music. When one writes about music what does one write about? Sound? Culture? Feeling (is feeling historical)? Technologies? Art? The course explores how one can approach the power of any of the above through writing, writing about record labels, cities, bands, musicians, and more.
